Day 20: Gratitude
Day 20 of the 21 Awesome Days Challenge!
Hi Lovely People
On our penultimate day of this 21 Awesome Days Challenge I thought we would do something easy but also powerful. You may have wondered when this topic would make an appearance, well here it is… gratitude!!
Probably one of the fastest ways to raise your vibration and set your day off in the best way is to focus on what you are grateful for.
The amazing thing is, there are SO many things you can be grateful for. Whether it is the ability to walk, the cup of tea your other half makes you each morning, or even this challenge 😉
It is impossible to stay in a low vibration when you are pointing out all of the amazing things you are grateful for.
For example yesterday I put my contact lenses in and found that one eye had drastically reduced its vision overnight. If I shut my good eye I could barely make out anything but blobs.
I tried not to panic as I was sure there was a reason. I yawned loads to make my eyes water and maybe wash anything that was clouding my vision. I looked in my eyes in the mirror and tried to see if there was anything on my eye that could be affecting my vision.
I tried to remember if my son had recently whacked me in the eye by accident, but he hadn’t. I decided I wasn’t going to panic and went about my day with a dodgy eye as best I could.
It was when my mind was quiet that I got the idea to take out the lens, in case it was an issue with the contact lens itself and not my eye… turns out it was.
Anyways the point of the story is that for the rest of the day I couldn’t help but rejoice and feel so so happy that I hadn’t drastically lost vision in one of my eyes. It really gave my mood an extra boost, and I still feel grateful thinking about it now 🙂
For today’s challenge I would like you to begin with an attitude of gratitude and maintain this as much as you can throughout your day.
If your like me and lists are your thing then do out a big list and really milk it, or else just notice everything around you that you are grateful for and say a huge THANK YOU when you notice it.
Being grateful is an amazing practice to integrate into your day, please let me know how your grateful day goes, I really do love to hear from you.
See ya tomorrow for the last day *SNIFF*
Wishing you an abundance of joy
P.s. You’re Awesome
