Day 2: Sound Healing
Day 2 of the 21 Awesome Days Challenge!
Hi everyone, hope you are all doing great 🙂
Today’s challenge is going to revolve around sound healing!
Sound healing is something I stumbled across when listening to Marguerita Vorborioff’s work on abundance.
She is a trained opera singer, and believes that sound has been used for many many years as a powerful healing tool.
Marguerita also says that listening to musical tones can clear vibrational blockages and help bring the body to a state of balance.
Sound healing can come in many forms such as drumming, tuning forks or singing bowls, but today we will be focusing on sound healing using the human voice.
I was sceptical at first, but I do feel my vibration shift when I listen to my favourite Fleetwood Mac songs so I thought I would give it a go.
I stuck in my headphones and listened…it sounds strange but certain tones did give me tingles and I did feel happier and a lot more optimistic about my abundance after.
An hour later, I had fallen down a black hole of sound healing YouTube videos, all of which made me feel tingly and uplifted!
Try finding a quiet place to sit or lie down when you have 15 minutes to spare. Breathe deeply and open your heart space, allowing the sounds to settle into your being. The great thing about this is that you can just lie there and relax.
As mentioned before some of you might not feel any benefit from this and may think it’s just some lady wailing in an opera voice, but the fact you are open to trying it is amazing so give yourself a big old pat on the back!!
